Our team reviews the applicant's first responder status. We look at department affiliation, years of service, active or retired status, and any available public records. Applicants are contacted directly to confirm their identity.
First Responder Repair is a word-of-mouth and community-driven platform. Many applicants come referred by colleagues or through local first responder networks in Birmingham. This community context is part of how we build confidence in each listing.
Once credentials are confirmed, we review the business profile for completeness and accuracy — description, service areas, licensing, insurance, and contact information. We don't publish incomplete profiles.
